Dr Rachel Aron

Rachel spent over 25 years as a senior British diplomat with experience of top level policy-making and corporate leadership in Whitehall and abroad, including as British Ambassador to Belgium (2007-10).

She is a highly qualified and experienced executive coach accredited to the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and works with public and private sector clients. She also trains civil servants in a range of skills.  Her earlier diplomatic assignments included political postings in New York where she was the UK Representative on all UN Security Council Sanctions Committees and Brasilia where she was Head of Chancery at the British Embassy.

She was also FCO Chair of the Civil Service Selection Board (now known as Fast Stream) and was a long-serving assessor at FCO Assessment and Development Centres for promotion to the Senior Management Structure of the FCDO. She is an active trustee of the Carroll Centre, a community hub in Stanmore, Winchester, UK.
